Penda Tanzania is a non-profit dedicated to providing education to those in need.

The organization has been active in Tanzania since starting the sponsorship's of 3 local children in Arusha, Tanzania in 2013. It has since expanded to 8 children as of Jan 2018.

The United Republic of Tanzania is a country situated in Eastern Africa. In Tanzania, an estimated 1,300,000 children are orphans due to HIV. They have lost either one or both of their parents because of the disease. Growing up without a family or in a dysfunctional family environment often has serious implications on a child’s mental and physical development. Children who grow up without parental care often do not attend school.

Penda Tanzania wants to help reverse this trend by sponsoring these children to attend school so that they may make a life for themselves. With your help we can make that possible!
